Power shortage everywhere

I'm always online with my colleague in head office, Mumbai, India, using messenger so we can cut phone cost.
She told me that yesterday office was having power shortage the whole day, but they have power generator so problem can be minimized.
Just now, I chat with her again. I asked whether power was back. She said it's fine, tomorrow they will have another shut down. Every Friday for industrial area. But.... for residential area: 3-8 hours everyday!

That is such a difficult life! I thought only Indonesia has the problem, but it's happening globally.
In my hometown, Medan, electricity company shuts down power everyday, for 2-3 hours.
In Jakarta area, we have some schedule of power shut down too, but it was never long!

In other remote areas, situation is worse, making households buy power generator.
Petrol price gone up, and rare to find.
